A.H. Nicholls & Sons Ltd processes inert wastes in accordance with the WRAP Quality Protocol for the ‘Production of aggregates from inert waste’.
Waste is processed using crushing and screening equipment and hand sorting to produce high quality aggregates, topsoil and construction materials for reuse by the company in its contracting works and for sale to customers.
Recycled aggregates available for purchase by trade or private customers, either collected (un-bagged) or delivered to site by company grab lorries are:
- Type 1 Sub-Base
- Type 3 Sub-Base (SUDS)
- 6F5 Capping Layer
- Screened Soils
Prime aggregates available for purchase by trade or private customers, either collected (un-bagged) or delivered to site by company grab lorries are:
- 10mm shingle
- 20mm shingle
- Sharp sand
- Ballast
